Head down to the Pearl District on First Thursday evenings from July to September for an open-air affair outside of the Ecotrust building. Founded in the belief that our local surroundings and sounds are what matter, each week features a variety of Portland musicians on one end of the parking lot, while the opposite half is filled with community partners sharing knowledge related to the weekly earth-centric theme from their street fair-like booths. Family friendly, there are free arts and crafts for the kiddos plus food and beer on hand while you learn how to lead a more environmentally consciously life—or just enjoy the tunes.
