It stands for change and it is not afraid to motivate. These songs are written for the “people of the world who have the heart, stand up care for where we are,” as Eisen-Meyers sings in “Race Against Time.” This song, as well as the others on the record, are motivated by his reflection on how important it is for us all to grow towards a positive idea of being “for” something, rather than “against” during this time of societal oppression.

This, of course, is not a mission one man can take on alone. Eisen-Meyers has collaborated with an orchestra of Portland musicians to give these words power and inspiration, both on the album and in concert.
