Every first Monday, Portland’s music industry—artists and music businesses—come together to “constructively kvetch,” as MusicPortland’s executive director Meara McLaughlin jokingly puts it. “The world has changed so much since our First Monday event in March,” she continues. “We need connections and to acknowledge our community more than ever. We want to hear from you to see how MusicPortland can help you to stay connected and informed. We serve you. We need your ideas and participation. Join us as we begin this community journey and Band Together to get through this moment in history.” The webinar will include updates from MusicPortland plus Jeremy Wilson talking about his organization’s relief fund and an introduction to Déja Fitzgerald (aka Micah The Rapper), MusicPortland’s latest board member.
