Led by Portland entertainment attorney Bart Day, this will be an easy-to-follow, free workshop on the basics of music publishing and the main types of music publishing contracts, with plenty of time for Q&A. Day was formerly the vice president of legal affairs for a Los Angeles music publishing company and was also recently inducted into the Oregon Music Hall of Fame. Workshop runs from 1-3:30pm.
