Dixie Mattress Festival

WIN TICKETS: July 20 - 22, 2018

all ages
Back for its ninth year, the annual Dixie Mattress Festival is a playground for longtime Portland songwriter Jerry Joseph—who over the course of three days will play four sets, both acoustic and electric with his Jackmormons, featuring songs from his expansive discography. Named for a Joseph song about the real-life, controversial, confederate flag-bearing Dixie Mattress Co. store on Belmont (which shuttered in 2010), the fest finds itself in new environs this year on 156 acres of heavily wooded Oregon forest east of Scio at Neal Creek Resort. With a swimming hole and hot showers, rustic camping under the stars, a balcony overlooking the stage, and a potluck dinner, the beautiful pavilion that'll house the bands was hand-built from lumber found onsite. And in addition to those multiple Jackmormons sets, Root Jack, John Shipe Band, Planet No Planet, and Michael Dean Damron will play. Camping tickets are $65-$185 depending on your length of stay while noncampers are $55-$150. But if you wanna win yourself a pair of fest passes, just leave a comment below!
