Inspired by drive-in movie theaters, audience members will drive to a secret Central Eastside location hours before this show. Once parked in the safety of your vehicle, sound will be delivered into your car as the team of XRAY.FM relays the sound while throughout the parking lot artists perform, giving you a drive-in movie feel. The show will be featuring performances from a mixture of local artists. This includes musicians: Portland Opera, Amenta Abioto, and Kenji Bunch and Monica Ohuchi (Fear No Music); theatre artist Gerrin Mitchell; dance artists: Oluyinka Akinjiola (Rejoice! Diaspora Dance Theater), Suba Ganesan (Portland Creative Laureate, and KT Kusmaul (Body Home Fat Dance); and spoken word by Anya Pearson. For on-site pick up, food will be available.
