When We Met

Rock, Electronic, Pop
Location: Portland

With a dark wave, post-punk sound, When We Met’s new release “Selfless” features the tongue drum with heavy bass and trip-hop tracks. The single is accompanied by an animated music video by Zachary Whitmore that showcases trippy visuals and political content relevant to the election year. Coincidentally, its release falls in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic with a relevant underlying message: Be a little more selfless and a little less selfish. The video had a few last-minute modifications to add some Covid-19-related imagery. For fans of Sonic Youth, X and TV On The Radio, “Selfless” is out now on most digital platforms and watch the music video on YouTube.
