Rose City Kings were founded in 2002 and quickly became one of Portland’s top blues bands. Known for their exciting live performances, they've released five critically acclaimed albums, won the 2005 Journey to Memphis competition, and subsequently represented the Northwest in the International Blues Challenge. Most recently, Rose City Kings were nominated for the Muddy Award for Best Contemporary Blues Act in 2018 by the Cascade Blues Association. Rose City Kings’ bluesy grooves will shake you to the bone, and the songwriting and performances will hit you right in the heart.
