Lance Eads and the Happy Accidents

Born in Seattle in 1970, in high school Lance Eads began playing drums and writing lyrics for the grunge band Violet Grey. He moved to Portland in 1993 and played drums in a few different bands before picking up the guitar in earnest in 1995. His band, the Happy Accidents, was assembled specifically for interpreting the Meta-Fur-ical album for live performance. Eads also performs quite frequently as a solo acoustic artist. For fans of Pink Floyd, Gong, They Might Be Giants, Grateful Dead, and Built to Spill.
