Dark Matter Transfer is Portland, Oregon's premier super-kinetic, uber jam band. Evolving from a wellspring of musical styles, DMT puts a unique spin on it's ever-changing improvisational formula and creates a truly one-of-a-kind dynamic, original sound with roots in rock, funk, blues, jazz, noise and electronic dance music. Every listener takes away something different from each live DMT experience, comparing the band's prodigal vibe to a number of eclectic and celebrated bands, including Pink Floyd, Phish, Jimi Hendrix, Tool, Grateful Dead, U2 and many others. Since forming in March 2012, DMT has developed a dedicated cadre of super-fans in Portland while expanding outward into neighboring states across the Pacific Northwest.
