Born on the road, the daughter of a traveling musician, Amberlee was destined to become a music-making gypsy—even if it took her a few years to figure it out. Her introductory offering, Fate in the Desert, is a strong collection of original songs that embody modern folk and vintage Americana with a touch of jazz. Her influences have left a nostalgic imprint as Amberlee embodies the timeless vocal stylings of a young Patsy Cline accompanied by contemporary moments as full and lush as Lana Del Rey and Adele. Her debut EP Fate in the Desert is out February 1.
