What’s not to love about a fest that literally takes over downtown Boise with myriad activities in every nook and cranny? Of course there’s booze and food, but there’s also yoga, comedy, film, storytelling, and gatherings for techies and kids that fill so many indoor and outdoor spaces, accompanied by concert stages both large and small. Hosting more than 400 bands in its eighth year, the likes of Toro y Moi, Vince Staples, Liz Phair, Mandolin Orange, Cherry Glazerr, Nappy Roots and Dan Deacon join perennial locals Built To Spill and heaps of rising Northwest acts.
