The Get Ahead is all about driving forward. In these painfully complex times, the Americana-soul quintet’s mission is to move people with their gritty but emotive roots aesthetic. With their third release, Mind Is A Mountain, they have driven into new territory. The four-song EP is the product of a fresh palette of artistic possibilities offered by a new lineup and the opportunity to work with Grammy Award-winning producer and artist Son Little (who's worked with The Roots, RJD2, Mavis Staples).
