If you want to travel back in time to a place where Pickathon stuck to its pluckin’ roots and cost $100 less, the drier climes of 4 Peaks just might be your jam. Taking its name from the four Cascade mountain peaks that form a picturesque backdrop to this central Oregon fest, 4 Peaks has been bringing an eclectic array of national, regional and local bands to Bend for more than a decade. This year’s lineup features Grace Potter, ​JJ Grey & Mofro, ​Lettuce, Keller Williams' Grateful Grass, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades, Dustbowl Revival, Aqueous, The Dip, Lindsay Lou, TK & The Holy Know Nothings, Western Centuries and many more. Entering its 13th year, the family-friendly vibe brings morning yoga, a silent disco, and plenty of options from Bend breweries, wineries and distilleries, making it a brilliant way to celebrate the summer solstice. Regular weekend passes (includes camping and parking) are $250, young adult passes (ages 11-17) are $80, and kids 10 and under are free, plus RV passes are available.
