Rebecca Gates

From 1991 to 2000, Gates was the frontwoman of the Sub Pop duo The Spinanes alongside drummer Scott Plouf, who left the band to hit the skins for Built To Spill from 1997 until 2012. Gates performs as a solo artist under her own name or with a band dubbed The Consortium, which often features Ji Tanzer on drums and Joanna Bolme on bass, among others. CY
