Dirty Uncle Rose

Country, Rock
Location: Portland

Like many Portland bands, Dirty Uncle Rose was born in a garage during the rainy season in 2017. Offering a new twist on an important American sound, the alt/country five-piece bring together a high, lonesome rock vibe with soaring harmonies that sit atop a blue-ribbon twang from their trio of guitars (Mat Peluso on pedal steel, Rose Gerber on acoustic and Allan Kaufman on electric) while its all buttressed by the effortless rhythm section of Mark McIntire on bass and Casey Tuck on drums. For fans of Jason Isbell, Lucinda Williams, Bob Seger and Ryan Adams, the band’s debut album Another Heartache is out now.
